Data Controller
The controller responsible for data processing under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data in relation to us:
- Right to access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Right to withdraw consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data. The competent authority is the North Rhine-Westphalia State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is hosted by IONOS. The provider automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically transmits (e.g. browser type, operating system used, referrer URL, IP address, time of the server request). This data is not merged with other data sources.
Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of our website), as well as under a data processing agreement with IONOS pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Cookies and Tracking
This website currently does not use any analytics or marketing tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and no tracking cookies. Only technically necessary data required for the operation of the site is processed.
Should cookies or comparable technologies that are not technically necessary be used in the future, your consent will be obtained beforehand in accordance with § 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications-Digital-Services-Data-Protection Act), and this policy will be updated accordingly.
The fonts used on this website (Sora, Inter, IBM Plex Mono) are hosted locally on our own server. No connection is made to servers operated by Google or other third parties, so no data such as your IP address is transmitted to third parties.
Contact Form (Project Request)
If you send us a project request via the contact form, the data you provide (name, email address, optional phone number, your message, and an optionally uploaded sketch/drawing as PNG, JPG or PDF) will be transmitted to us by email and stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and for any follow-up questions. No external marketing software or newsletter platform is used — processing takes place exclusively on our own server.
Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR if your request serves to initiate a contract, or otherwise on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). By checking the corresponding checkbox in the form, you additionally confirm that you have taken note of this privacy policy.
For evidentiary purposes, we store the timestamp and IP address of your request in a log file on our web server for the duration of the statutory limitation period (generally 3 years, § 195 BGB).
Download Form (E-Paper)
To download our e-papers, we collect your name, email address, company, position, and optionally a phone number. The selected e-papers are downloaded directly in your browser; the data from the form is additionally transmitted to us by email and, for evidentiary purposes (consent given, timestamp, IP address), stored in a log file on our web server. No external marketing software or newsletter platform is used — processing takes place exclusively on our own server.
We obtain two separate consents in the form:
- Processing to handle your request (required): The basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, given by checking the corresponding checkbox. Without this consent, processing your request is not possible.
- Sales contact (optional): Only if you actively check the second checkbox may we contact you by email or phone about relevant products and services (direct marketing, § 7 UWG). This consent is independent of the first and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, for example by emailing info@meta-composites.de.
We store the log data as proof of consent for the duration of the statutory limitation period (generally 3 years, § 195 BGB) and delete it thereafter, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption for the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://".
Storage Duration
Unless a more specific storage duration has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. Statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial or tax law) remain unaffected.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
